CSA Youth teams travel to Springfield Nebraska

On May 5,  2013 The CSA youth program participated in the Springfield Soccer festival put on by ENSA ( Eastern Nebraska Soccer Association).   The festival had 23 teams from 10 different clubs from throughout the region.  Capital Soccer had the largest showing with 8 teams making the CSA gold uniforms everywhere.

The 8 teams, both boys and girls u-7 through u-8, got their first experience at traveling and playing others outside the Lincoln area.  This tournament was a great teaching tool for the kids and learning experience for the young refs.   Extra touches, and a fun environment was the goal of this festival and it was pulled off very well.

At the end of the day the festival was truly about FUN and that is what happened.   Whether it was that great display of dribbling, the amazing pass, or their first goal of the season.   This was the positive feeling that the players got to take home with them.  Well that and the ribbons that each player received.

CSA put on such a great show of support, positive play and sportsmanship that we are now on the list for a fall festival stop.  This shows the reputation that CSA is continuing to build in the soccer community.

There is more fun stuff to come, so tell your friends and lets all enjoy what youth soccer can truly be about.

Thanks to all who came to join us for the festival.  The players, coaches and the great coaching staff.  Without you we know this can never happen.

Youth Director
